Bengalla Agricultural Company (BAC) has bolstered its farming equipment fleet with a new 265HP tractor, fertiliser spreader, planter, and a second-hand truck and stock crate all arriving in the past few months.
The new additions complement BAC’s hay making machinery, including a mower/conditioner, rake, bale accumulator, small baler and a large baler, which were purchased earlier in the year.
Steers and heifers are currently being fattened for feedlot and/or abattoir markets.
The BAC team (with generous support from Bengalla Mine) is also working hard to improve the reliability of the irrigation systems.
Finally, a warm welcome to Alex MacDonald, who joined the BAC team late last year as Assistant Manager, bringing up the total number of BAC team members to four.
